1 Peter 2:9

Everyone wants to fit in or feel like they belong. However, 1 Peter 2:9 says we are, as Christians, to be be a “peculiar people.” What does this mean? Well, we are to stand out.

Romans 12:2 says “And be not conformed to this world... that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” We see that we are not to be like the world because we are to show and prove the will of God. The world is full of sin, evil, and hate. So, as Christians we are to be pure, loving, and kind. Making us strange to the world. People are gonna think you are strange!!

Matthew 7:13 says that wide is the path to destruction and many take that path. So we must be different to get to Heaven.
